Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnerships (MNVPs)
We deliver independent MNVPs for Integrated Care Systems in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset, putting people’s lived experience at the heart of improvements in maternity and neonatal care.
Our MNVPs are delivered and managed locally by experienced teams of committed staff and volunteers, with support from our central team.
Through these partnerships, we work with diverse communities, service users and providers, to make sure that maternity and neonatal strategy, service design and delivery are informed by people’s views and experiences.

About MNVPs
MNVPs ensure that service user voices are at the heart of decision-making in maternity and neonatal services.
An MNVP listens to the experiences of women and families, and brings together service users, staff and other stakeholders to plan, review and improve maternity and neonatal care.
MNVPs ensure that service users’ voices are at the heart of decision-making in maternity and neonatal services by being embedded within the leadership of provider trusts and feeding into the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS), which in turn feeds into Integrated Care Board (ICB) decision-making.
This influences improvements in the safety, quality, and experience of maternity and neonatal care.
