Evolving Communities worked with Conclusio to evaluate a training course offered by Dorothy House Hospice Care. We designed surveys to assess knowledge, competence, requirements and general feedback about the course.

Background to the work

Evolving Communities was approached by Conclusio Limited to independently evaluate a training course, provided by Dorothy House Hospice Care in Wiltshire. The course was aimed at community/district nurses and other allied health professionals and focused on the issues they may face in supporting the nutritional and hydration needs of patients at the end of life and their relatives/unpaid carers.

What did we do?

We designed pre-course and post-course surveys to assess current knowledge and perceived competence, CPD requirements, immediate impact of the course and general feedback about the course.  We also attended to course to speak with attendees face-to-face.

If you currently provide training internally or externally, would like an independent viewpoint on how well it is working and the impact is has had on staff development and practice, then contact us for more information.
