Healthwatch Gloucestershire, wants to know what you think about Care at Home services in the county. They will use your feedback to help drive positive change and improvement in Gloucestershire’s social care services.

If you use home care services, for yourself or a loved one, or you are employed as a home carer or you provide home care services, Healthwatch Gloucestershire wants to hear what you think good care looks like – what works well and what could be improved. They also want to know how you find and access Care at Home services.

You can share your feedback during February by completing an online survey, joining an online discussion group, or arranging a one-to-one conversation with a member of the Healthwatch Gloucestershire team. Your feedback will be confidential and can remain anonymous.

Suzie Compton, Healthwatch Gloucestershire Engagement Officer, explained why they want to hear your views: “Over the last two years, we’ve heard from people who have received wonderful care and support in their own home and from others who felt their care was not so good. We have also heard from people who have struggled to find helpful information about Care at Home services. We believe that health and care providers can best improve services by listening to people’s experiences, so we are now investigating Care at Home services in more depth. We will share our findings with those who provide and commission care in Gloucestershire, so do get involved as your voice really will make a difference.”
