Working and volunteering with Gloucestershire MNVP

Join our team of volunteers and help improve Gloucestershire’s maternity and neonatal services

We are recruiting volunteers to find out about and share people’s experiences and views of maternity and neonatal services in Gloucestershire, to help support changes and improvements in care.

We know volunteering can appear time consuming, especially if you have little ones, so we’re flexible about how much time you commit and there’s no pressure to do more than you can. You can also focus your volunteering work on the particular areas that you are interested in.

Volunteering roles

There are a variety of ways to get involved, including:

  • Project Volunteers – sharing lived experience to support projects and staff education initiatives.
  • 15 Steps Volunteers – taking part in visits to maternity services to help us see services through the eyes of families.
  • Feedback Volunteers – reviewing leaflets, resources and communications to ensure they are clear and accessible.
  • Lived Experience Contributors – supporting projects through storytelling, case studies or training activities.
  • Community Engagement Volunteers – helping at events, outreach activities and engagement projects.
  • Survey and Insight Volunteers – supporting surveys, gathering feedback and identifying key themes.
  • Volunteer Champions – welcoming new volunteers and helping promote the work of Gloucestershire MNVP.

If you would like to know more, please contact us or complete the form link below to register your interest. You’re not committing to anything; it’s simply letting us know you’re interested and we’ll get in in touch to give you more information.
