Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD):

Singing for lung health

Improving public information about NHS Continuing Healthcare funding (CHC) case study

From 2022 until June 2024, we worked independently on behalf of NHS Somerset, to help Bridgwater residents who have COPD to live healthy and full lives. The Sing 2 Breathe group in Bridgwater continues through to the end of 2024 as a legacy of this project.

Sing 2 Breathe: a Singing for Lung Health Group

The sessions are led by Kate Lynch and supported by Asthma and Lung UK.

A sociable group activity where techniques for breathing control and better posture are taught through singing.
