Health and social care services that are informed by stakeholder insight and evaluation are more effective and deliver greater social value and impact.
All our work, whether through local Healthwatch services or Evolving Communities Consultancy, has a common aim: to drive improvements in health and social care by giving people a voice to influence positive change.
We achieve this at a national and local level by delivering stakeholder engagement and insight, combined with expert sector knowledge and service evaluation. We work with a broad range of organisations, services providers, and stakeholders, on large-scale and smaller projects.
Healthwatch exists to speak up for local people to make sure that health and social care services reflect the needs of the local community. Our work, which is delivered independently on behalf of local authorities, falls into three main areas: community engagement and representation to local health and care decision makers; information, advice and signposting; and Enter and View monitoring of local health and care services.
