Giving local people a voice to shape better health and social care in their communities.
Our Healthwatch services are delivered and managed locally by experienced teams of committed staff and volunteers. They are passionate about giving local people a voice to help shape health and social care in their area.
Each Healthwatch service is overseen by a local Board or Steering Group, consisting of highly experienced and skilled voluntary members. They supervise and contribute to the Healthwatch work programme and play a crucial role in monitoring its delivery. They also support the organisation to adhere to its purpose, vision and values.
Our Healthwatch teams work closely and in partnership with key regional and local commissioners, service providers and voluntary and community organisations. They are guided and supported by our central specialist services and the Evolving Communities Consultancy team.
